The house features a full kitchen, separate carpeted bedroom with built-in wardrobe, a lovely bathroom, and tiled living areas. New remote-controlled automatic blinds on all the large ranch sliders, plus new blackout curtains in the bedroom. Double glazing and a heat pump keep it very warm and cosy through winter and cool in summer. Can be partly furnished if needed — fridge, TV, bed and sofa available. The pool house sits across the lawn from the main house, and you'd share all the outdoor amenities — heated pool (Labour Weekend through Easter), BBQ, pizza oven and entertaining area. There's also a walkway down to a private beach — perfect for fishing or watersports. Please note the spa pool shown in one of the photos has since been removed. Car parking on a safe, quiet road, and pushbikes or motorcycles can be kept securely inside the gated property. It's an easy walk to the downtown ferry if you work in the city and want to skip the traffic, and just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop. We have a very friendly and clean Border Collie who lives at the main house. Rent: $735 per week, plus a $50 per week contribution to power, Wi-Fi and water. Hot water runs off an outdoor 9kg gas bottle which you'd top up yourself — it lasts quite a while.
