Our amazing tenants of 2 years have brought their first home, which means we have a 2 bedroom unit for rent. The unit is only 3 years old, is fully insulated and equipped with a dish washer, full kitchen, black out curtains in the bedrooms, double glazing windows, bar stools for the island bench and large heat pump. There is plenty of on street parking available. Landlords live upstairs and are a married couple in their early 30’s with 2 children and large dog. The dog will sometimes be in the yard area but spends most of his time upstairs with his family (you can access your front door without having to interact with him). He is very friendly and will say hello from time to time. There can be a bit of noise heard from downstairs which is unavoidable with young children and living beneath people, so that would be something to consider if you are sensitive to noise. Great location, down a quiet cul de sac with parks and bush walks minutes away. The house is down a long gated driveway and looks out at the bush. Glenfield Mall and Wairau junction are a 5 minute drive and Albany is 10 minutes away. There is a bus stop at the top of the road. Rent is $520 per week. Internet and reasonable use of water is included, power is on a separate meter and is sent through monthly. Bond is $2,000 to be paid in advance to tenancy services.
