2 rooms house of 1631m² in Christchurch

This is an advertisement for a 6-month subletting arrangement from approximately mid June 2026 to mid December 2926, due to my temporary relocation for a contract role. I would currently be intending to return to the property at the end of this period. It is a house joined to another at the back hence listed as a house (could be termed a flat), but very spacious for a couple of people. Some negotiation would be needed around leaving some of my belongings in the garage or spare room, however the furniture (couch, armchair, coffee table) and kitchenware (including fridge) would also be left and be for use so please consider this a furnished rental for subletting purposes. This can also include a chest of drawers in the master bedroom. There is a washing machine but it does need a little persuasion to complete a cycle, and it could be taken to the eco drop instead! The house is in a quiet area with respectful neighbours down the shared driveway and around. The property is insulated and though a little older is in good condition. It gets good afternoon sunlight in winter and has plenty if window space. By agreement with the landlord, this advert is for a maximum of 3 people. The rent is $485 per week, with a bond optional. Start date is June 14th at the latest and approximately June 9th at the earliest. End date is likely December 18. At the time of advertising I do have some strong interest.
