Flatmate Wanted – Cozy Cottage Vibes in Northcote Point Our flatmate is off on a summer sailing adventure, so her room is up for grabs from March 22nd!The room is cozy but well laid out—currently set up with a king single and desk, but if you’ve got a double, it’ll fit just fine (a queen might be a squeeze, but doable if you’re creative!).The house itself is a charming, cottage-style home with great flow—open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area leading onto a sunny back deck and courtyard, perfect for alfresco dining, workouts, or just unwinding. In winter, we love a good chat over a cuppa by the log fireplace.The Location – A Hidden Gem Northcote Point is one of Auckland’s best-kept secrets—surrounded by bays, parks, nature reserves, and quaint cafés, plus an old-world cinema and a wine bar just down the road. Getting around is easy—we have one undercover park, free street parking, and the bus or ferry gets you to the city in 12 minutes (same for Takapuna Beach!).The Flat Crew 🏄‍♂️ Jack (37, Argentinian) – Friendly, easy-going, and always up for a hike, good meal and chat. 🌏 Janine (51, global citizen ) – Paddleboarder, adventurer, speaker and loves the occasional dinner gathering. 🐶 Andree & Luca – Two beautiful, very well-trained border collies who love fetch, beach runs, hiking and occasionally even paddleboarding. If you’re not a dog person, this won’t be the place for you!We’re a chilled, independent household—everyone does their own thing, but we come together for the occasional dinner, board game night, or hike. No major parties, no drama—just good people, good vibes, and a relaxed home. We have a cleaner once a fortnight and gardener once a term. You?
