Cosy sunny 1 bedroom farm cottage in a rural setting on our 150 acre farm, 15-20 minutes to Waipapa, 25-30 minutes to Kerikeri town centre. We're offering our cosy farm cottage as a short term rental for three - four months (from August - November). Ideally suited to a single person or couple who enjoy rural life and are perhaps waiting for their own property to be built; have recently moved to the area and looking for longer term accommodation; or are on a short term contract or posting. Also suitable for backpackers. Unfortunately the proximity to the river makes it unsuitable for children. The cottage is cosy, sunny, north west facing and fully furnished. It has been recently renovated with a beautiful large kitchen/dining area featuring macrocarpa slab benches and all white ware (gas oven and hob; large fridge freezer; kettle and toaster), plus crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area has a large, very efficient wood burner keeping the cottage cosy and warm. The cottage has a separate bedroom with king bed, bedside tables and lamps and large built in wardrobes with plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a tiled shower, sink and WC. There is access to a shared laundry close to the cottage. The cottage is situated next to the farm workshop and sheds so suits someone who enjoys rural living. Rent $300/week - Max 1 tenant. Rent includes: High speed internet/WiFi (Starlink) and water. Rent excludes: Gas & Electricity ($30/week contribution) and firewood (tenant to supply). Move in costs of 1 week's rent in advance, plus 1 month bond (deposit) held in Tenancy Bond Services. NOTE: No mobile coverage, however WhatsApp, Messenger and WIFI Calling all work well.
