Hi. Cedar Lodge is a 22-room boarding house situated at 176 Mt Wellington Highway, just a short walk to the Countdown supermarket and within walking distance to Sylvia Park shops and the Panmure transport hub. Cedar Lodge comprises two main buildings, a house and a purpose-built lodge, meaning that it never feels crowded. All rooms are well maintained and are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers, chair, 32 inch smart TV, pantry cupboard and fridge/freezer. The rooms come in a range of sizes, starting with our single rooms at $260 per week up to $310 per week for a large room for one person with an extra $50 per week for the second person in the room (couples only, no share twin). Your rent includes power, water and internet. Common areas are cleaned weekly. Meals are not supplied. You will be expected to keep your room hygienic and clean up after yourself when you use the communal areas. Communal facilities include five toilets, four showers, 2 new kitchens with dining areas and a lounge. Outside are a couple of covered porch areas with seating and a BBQ. There is also space available for personal vege gardens. Two washing machines are available free of charge and a coin operated dryer complements the washing lines available. Parking is available onsite on an allocated basis. There are currently 24 flatmates, with about a quarter female. About three quarters of the current tenants are working and one quarter are on a benefit or pension. The average is 50 something.
