There are two comfortable bedrooms, one a Queen and the other a King single. The property is a house and The Annexe is one half of it. It is private from the rest of the house with its own entrance off a common porch. The rent is based on two people and is negotiable for one.The Cottage There is also a separate furnished one bedroom, self contained cottage with its own entrance and deck, which can be let together with the Annexe or separately. This has been let for $ 380 for one and $410 for two.The property is a short walk to the beach and QE2 Park with numerous walking and cycling paths close-by. It is only 15 mins walk to the station and 20 mins to the village with its three excellent cafes. It is 40 minutes drive to Wellington City or 50 Minutes by train - an ideal spot to enjoy all that Paekākāriki has to offer. Due to being fully furnished the property can suit shorter term stays for some people, though the smaller furniture can be removed if that suits. Rent includes wifi, reasonable use of water and rubbish. Power is separate and paid monthly. The rent does not include linen, cutlery and crockery etc, but this can be included by negotiation, along with cleaning. There is a shared washing machine available.Its a nice place to relax and enjoy village life after a day in the city. The house owner lives on the property and is a vegetarian meditator, so it would suit quiet, tidy folk ( no parties), possibly professionals who enjoy the outdoors.
