We wish to make our fully furnished holiday house available throughout the winter of 2025 on an extended holiday let. We are not looking for people needing long term rental accommodation/ tenancy under the Residential Tenancy Act or those seeking a short term Air B&B. Perhaps you're a retired NZ’er living on the South Island who wants to spend a period in the warm, winterless North away from the cold and snow, And to be fair, it’s difficult to beat the Bay of Islands. Tapeka Point is a unique spot. Located right in the center of the spectacular Bay of Islands, just over the hill from historic Russell. It boasts some of the most breathtaking views that NZ has to offer, as well as two beaches & its own boat ramp. Our house, built in the late 1990’s by a builder as his family home, boasts a clever open plan design with formal & informal living areas, deck & a veranda. Situated just a short kayak drag from two beaches (Kayaks provided) with a fantastic indoor-outdoor flow to both its spacious covered balcony/outdoor dining with Bay views to its rear tropical garden & BBQ area. The master bedroom is on the main level & includes a substantial walk-in wardrobe & spa bath as well as direct access to the front balcony. This leaves ample room for your family & guests upstairs with their own bathroom. You can even put the kids in the "Harry Potter" room off the garage! Rent quoted assumes a 12 week let including power and fiber, 2 occupants. Shorter periods/more than 2 tenants will attract a higher rent. Min stay 4 wks. Must start after Easter 2025 and end before 21 Nov 25. This is an extended holiday let not a Residential Tenancy.
